2.1 Alex

Yesterday instead of coming to school I went to town meeting day in Warren. It was pretty cool to see how everything was done but it was also pretty boring, because I couldn't vote or anything. At the end of the day after all the voting I had to count ballots, it is a really long and boring process to count all the ballots.

    Alex,
    That's actually pretty cool that you took the time to go to a Town Meeting and see local politics in action. While you may not have been able to vote, you can at least be informed about what is going on in your area, and as you strike up conversations with others in your town, you can help inform them of ideas and opinions. Hopefully, you will feel compelled as an adult to continue to be engaged in local politics, as your voice will matter.
