section 2.3 John
Currently in my Government Civics class we are watching a musical called 1776. The musical portrays the representatives from each of the 13 colonies voting on whether or not to attempt to declare independence from Great Britain, using songs and dance like a musical would. I personally think that this is a waste of time considering nobody in the class seems to be learning anything that pertains to government civics.

LOL!!! That's amazing that anyone would think to even create a musical about such an event, and then think that high schoolers would buy into finding it entertaining, much less educational. Wow... I'm a teacher, and usually support those kind of endeavors, but I think I need to side with you here...
